今年度の締めくくりとして終業式が行われ、校長先生からお話しがありました。１年間を振り返り、新学年に進級する１年生と２年生にコミュニケーションの大切さについてお話をしていただきました。

離任式では、この春に離任される先生が登壇され、本校への想いや在校生徒へのメッセージを話されました。生徒から花束を贈呈し、生徒らの拍手に見送られ退館されました。新しい場所でもご活躍されることを生徒職員一同願っております。ありがとうございました！。

 

３月14日（木）フランス・リヨンからの留学生、アルベルティニ雄吾さんの送別式が行われました。

11月末からの4ヶ月間、文科省のアジア架け橋プロジェクトの奨学生として、城東高校に在籍しました。クラスメートや部活動の仲間などとすぐに打ち解け、たくさんの思い出を作ることができたようです。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

翌日16日（土）に徳島あわおどり空港を出発しました。たくさんの人がお見送りに来てくれました。また夏に戻ってくると宣言して、徳島を後にしました。

 

 

 

 

 

 

今年度は、雄吾さん以外にも多くの留学生が城東高校に在籍しました。ノルウェー出身のレオノーレさん、カナダ出身のマリアンさん、オーストラリア出身のロバートさん、モンゴル出身のツェルメグさん、コスタリカ出身のカロリーナさんです。滞在期間の長短はありますが、留学生の皆さんは城東高校に大きな影響を与えてくれました。またこれからも多くの留学生が城東高校を訪れ、実り多い国際交流が続くことを期待しています。

 

 

 

令和６年２月22日（木）インドネシアのブラウィジャヤ・スマート・スクールから生徒20名と引率教員2名が、城東高校を訪問しました。

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, twenty students and two teachers from Brawijaya Smart School in Indonesia visited Joto High School.

 

 

 

 

 

ブラウィジャヤ・スマート・スクール（BSS）とは、新型コロナ感染症の影響により現地を訪問してのインドネシア研修が中止となった３年前よりオンラインでの研修・交流を続けています。現地研修が再開した昨年夏に、本校の研修参加者がBSSを訪問した際には、学校をあげて歓迎して頂き、またとても中身の濃い交流をすることができました。その中でBSS生から、今度は城東高校をぜひ訪問してみたいという要望があがり、今回実現するに至りました。

We have been conducting online training and exchange with Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) since three years ago, when the on-site training program in Indonesia was suspended due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection. When the local training program resumed last summer, the participants from our school visited BSS and were welcomed by the whole school. The BSS students requested to visit Joto High School, and this time they were able to make it happen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

朝、城東高校に到着後、大アリーナで歓迎式を行いました。入場時には、オーケストラ部の伴奏で校歌を斉唱しながらお迎えしました。オープニングパフォーマンスとしてオーケストラ部が「千と千尋の神隠し」の曲を演奏。続いて学校長、生徒会長からの歓迎の言葉、そして記念品の贈呈。生徒会による学校紹介、邦楽部の演奏を披露しました。BSSからは伝統舞踊と歌を披露して頂きました。続いてBSS生のプレゼン形式の自己紹介があり、最後に全員によるダンス、ジャンボリ・ミッキーでセレモニーは締めくくられました。

After arriving at Joto High School in the morning, a welcome ceremony was held in the main arena. Upon entrance, the students were welcomed with the singing of the school song accompanied by the orchestra club. As an opening performance, the orchestra club played a piece from "Spirited Away. This was followed by welcoming speeches from the school principal and student body president, and the presentation of commemorative gifts. The student council introduced the school and the traditional Japanese music club performed.  BSS performed traditional dances and songs. They also each gave a self-introduction in the form of a presentation.　The ceremony concluded with a dance by all, Jamboli Mickey.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

歓迎式の後は、書道の授業を体験。好きな言葉を漢字でうちわに書きました。

After the welcome ceremony, BSS students took a calligraphy class.　 They wrote their favorite words in Chinese characters on an Uchiwa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

昼食を挟んで、午後からはクエストのポスターセッション、課題研究発表会に参加。その中で、インドネシア研修の報告もあり、BSSの代表生徒が研修の感想を英語で発表しました。

In the afternoon, the students participated in the poster session of the Quest and the presentation of their research projects. Among them was a report on the training in Indonesia, in which representative students from BSS presented their impressions of the training in English.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

発表会の後は、３～４名ずつに別れて、清掃体験、SHRに参加しました。インドネシアでは、生徒は学校の清掃はしません。生徒たち自身で使った教室を掃除したり、ゴミを分別したりすることは、彼らにとってとても新鮮な体験でした。ゴミ処理が大きな社会問題になっているインドネシア。この体験がその解決に少しでも役立つことを願っています。

After the presentation, the students were divided into groups of 3-4 students each and participated in a cleaning experience and SHR. In Indonesia, students do not clean their schools. It was a very new experience for them to clean the classrooms themselves and sort garbage. Garbage disposal is a major social problem in Indonesia. We hope that this experience will help to solve this problem.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

翌日は、上勝町のゼロウェイスト・センターを訪問し、さらにゴミ処理や環境問題について学習しました。

The next day, they visited the Zero-Waste Center in Kamikatsu Town to further learn about waste disposal and environmental issues.

 

 

 

 

 

 

限られた時間での訪問ではありましたが、対面での交流により城東高校とBSS校の生徒たちにとって、心に残る貴重な時間になったことは間違いありません。この交流が今後も継続していくことを期待します。

Although the visit was limited in time, the face-to-face exchange definitely made it a memorable and valuable time for the students of Joto High School and BSS School. We hope that this exchange will continue in the future.

卒業おめでとうございます。新型コロナが第５類に移行したことにともない、本年度は4名の来賓の方々、350名をこえる保護者の皆様をお迎えし、卒業式を挙行することができました。式典の前には邦楽部の「春の海」、入退場や各種斉唱にはオーケストラ部の演奏があり、厳粛な中にも暖かみのある式典となりました。久しぶりに復活した唱歌では卒業生と在校生が心を合わせて「蛍の光」を歌いました。そして「校歌」が大アリーナに大きく響き渡りました。卒業生の皆さんが、城東高校での3年間の経験と本日様々な方からいただいたお祝いの言葉を胸に、これからの人生を力強く時にしなやかに歩んでくれることをを願っています。
