国際交流について

1月28日（水）

令和3年度よりインドネシア研修で交流のあるBSS校の生徒17名と引率の先生2名が城東高校を訪問しました。歓迎セレモニーでは、学校長、生徒会長の歓迎の言葉に続いて、記念品の贈呈、外語部による学校紹介、邦楽部、書道部、オーケストラ部のパフォーマンスでBSS生を熱烈に歓迎しました。BSS校からも学校やインドネシアの文化紹介、インドネシアに伝わる２つの昔話をアレンジした劇を披露してくれました。

午後からBSS生は美術（水墨画）や書道（漢字カレンダー）、家庭科（刺し子）の授業を体験しました。どの授業の活動もBSS生にとっては初めてのことばかりでしたが、城東生が丁寧に説明しながら一緒に楽しく活動することができたようです。

放課後は部活動見学や市内散策をホスト生ととも楽しみました。

１月29日（木）

城東高校での2日目は、インドネシアでの環境活動の発表から始まりました。104HRと205HRに分かれて、スライドを見せながら活動の様子を紹介してくれました。発表後には、活発な質疑応答が行われました。

2時間目には、和太鼓の演奏・体験ワークショップに参加しました。NPO法人太鼓の楽校の方々の全身に響く力強い演奏を聴いた後、実際に太鼓のリズムをマスターするワークショップが始まりました。最初はバチをどう持つのかも分からなかったのが、1時間の練習で、テンポを徐々に早めながら5分間、エネルギッシュな演奏ができるまで上達しました。

１月30日（金）

出発の朝、本校生徒とBSS生が名残惜しそうに言葉を交わし、写真を撮ったり、再会を約束したりする姿が見られました。短い滞在ではありましたが、交流を通して築かれた友情は深く、生徒たちにとって心に残る時間となりました。

Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) Students from Indonesia Visit Joto High School

Wednesday, January 28

On Wednesday, January 28, seventeen students and two accompanying teachers from Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) in Indonesia, which has been engaged in exchange programs with Joto High School since the 2021 academic year, visited our school.
At the welcome ceremony, following greeting speeches by the principal and the student council president, commemorative gifts were exchanged. The Foreign Language Club gave a presentation introducing Joto High School, and the Japanese Music Club, Calligraphy Club, and Orchestra Club warmly welcomed the BSS students with impressive performances.
In return, the BSS students introduced their school and Indonesian culture and performed a play adapted from two traditional folktales from Indonesia.

In the afternoon, the BSS students experienced several classes, including art (ink wash painting), calligraphy (making a kanji calendar), and home economics (sashiko embroidery). Although all of these activities were new to them, Joto students carefully explained each activity, and everyone enjoyed working together in a friendly atmosphere.
After school, the BSS students visited club activities and explored the city together with their host students.

Thursday, January 29

On the second day at Joto High School, the program began with presentations on environmental activities in Indonesia. The BSS students were divided into classes 104HR and 205HR, where they introduced their activities using slides. After the presentations, an active question-and-answer session followed.

During the second period, the students participated in a Japanese taiko drum performance and hands-on workshop. After listening to the powerful, resonant performance by members of the NPO Taiko no Gakkō, the workshop began, allowing students to learn taiko rhythms themselves. Although they were unsure how to hold the drumsticks at first, after one hour of practice they improved greatly and were able to perform an energetic five-minute piece while gradually increasing the tempo.

Friday, January 30

On the morning of departure, students from Joto High School and BSS exchanged farewell words with a sense of sadness, took photos together, and promised to meet again in the future.
Although the stay was short, the friendships built through this exchange were deep, making it a truly memorable experience for all the students involved.
