Philosophy Workshop 哲学講座

Joto Foreign Language Club (FLC) had a philosophy workshop with Saint Joseph, our sister school in France.  

Ms. Nadine, the philosophy teacher kindly taught the fundamental of philosophy in French to the students and Ms. Julie, our ALT translated it in English.

The session was done via zoom and we could feel France is closer thanks to the latest technologies.

We had an opportunity to think about "what the greed is" and "what will happen when people have too much greeds" by watching a short  video clip that relates to the fundamental of the philosophy.

This made students assume and ponder the keyword : "greed". 

The philosophy workshop will be continued next month. 

姉妹校であるサン・ジョセフ校のナディーン先生が、外語部のために哲学の講座を開いてくださいました。

フランス語によるナディーン先生の講義を、本校ALTのジュリー先生が英語で同時通訳してくださいました。

講座はzoomで行われましたが、最新技術のお陰でフランスが近くに感じられました。

哲学の基礎に関する内容で、短い動画も視聴し、生徒たちは「欲とは何か」、「欲を持ちすぎると人はどうなってしまうのか」について考えました。

この機会を得て、生徒は「欲」というキーワードについて推測し、熟考しました。
